With a strong academic and professional background in Mathematics and Applied Mechanics specializing in Fluid Mechanics, I earned my PhD with honors from the University of Zaragoza in 2014. My career expands key areas of numerical methods, optimization and control in environmental flows, with a notable proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) and programming, evidenced by my development of

open-source codes.

My postdoctoral experiences at EEAD-CSIC and BCAM, together with my tenure at ORNL in the USA, have allowed me to acquire expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and HPC. Similarly, a proof of my spirit for the excellence in research has been through

44 scientific articles, more than 60 conferences and a chapter of book that I have authored. My focus, as a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Zaragoza, turned towards bringing my computational expertise into diverse hydrodynamics fields and machine learning, exploiting my mathematical and HPC knowledge.
