Hongbin Zhang is a senior engineer in China Institue of Water Resources and Hydropower Research. He got the bachelar degree in Wuhan University, China and dotor degree in Newcastle University, UK. His research interests involve flood simulation and forecast, flood risk analysis, the impact and assessment of flood, urban flood resilience etc. He has led over 30 projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and National Key Research and Development Program of China. In addition, he has published 35 academic papers and 5 books, as well as, been authorized 3 invention patents.
